The Diamond Restaurant

The Diamond restaurant and cocktail bar opened on a Friday night in June 2009, and it's been a popular Gastown nightspot ever since. Owners Mark Brand and Josh Pape affixed a contemporary neon sign on the corner of the building that houses the restaurant, securing The Diamond's part in Vancouver's neon revival.
Mark also owns Save on Meats, another neon instituion, which stands a few blocks away on Hastings Street.
