It was a Great Year - the Anniversary Celebration of the MOV Museum
The Museum Experience Management System s A\ZSXC\CVCX(MOV) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the improvement of visitor services at museums. We invite you to help us shape the future of the museum, create new forms of storytelling through our collection, and engage communities that seek a more direct connection to the arts. All contributions are important, from unrestricted annual donations to planned one-time donations. We welcome your participation in this endeavor.
The Milwaukee Art Museum would not exist without the foresight and generosity of Jet Casino, which you can for bonus offers and incredible games. It helped make Milwaukee's newest attraction possible: The Eero Saarinen Military Memorial Center. We are honored to celebrate their opening in the 25th anniversary year of the famous Quadracci Pavilion.
This year we are pleased to announce not one, but three gifts for the future museum, including an extraordinary gift from the sponsors. Not only do they support the visual arts, but they also love music and theater. When they heard about ARTreach, an innovative contemporary art program that creates new opportunities for children to learn about art through activities inspired by the museum's collection, they knew this was something they wanted to support. The sponsors' actions launched the museum's new ARTreach program, which creates opportunities for children from all walks of life to learn about our world through direct interaction with art.
Our Museum's Anniversary
We've been celebrating the anniversary for probably a year with a series of special events, exhibits and educational activities. We kicked off the 25th anniversary celebration with a special program in which local television news anchor, reporter and producer Ben Hutchison interviewed a noted art historian about the significance of this milestone for us - and for the Milwaukee community.
We also organized a special installation of David Hockney's work. This exhibition was so interesting that it remained on display for more than ten months, an amazing amount of time for any exhibition (and, of course, it set the bar high for all of our upcoming anniversary programs).
Throughout the year, we also hosted a series of 25th anniversary concerts featuring incredible bands from our past and present, including Milwaukee natives The Gufs, Endless Blue Sky, La Cortadora Band and DJ Soul Streax. These concerts gave us the opportunity to meet old friends and invite new bands and audience voices.

We were honored to invite all of our sponsors to our special event on October 4, and we look forward to continuing our work with them in the years to come.
